One can't help but be amused by my felines. Even my parents, who are not pet people, love them.

And now, there is a site that makes cat furniture more attractive... Modern Cat (http://www.moderncat.net/) is a blog about how to keep fashionable with your favorite feline(s).

Real Simple (yes, the magazine) has some simple, we-should-know-this-but-don't-follow-it tips to keep the job you abhor from affecting the rest of your life.

Read it here: http://simplystated.realsimple.com/home/2008/04/how-to-keep-a-b.html

Hell, I printed mine and put it on my board at work.

Everyone needs a retail therapy. Or sometimes, we just need a place to find things at a bargain. RetailMeNot.com (http://www.retailmenot.com) helps us achieve both. I saved over two hundred dollars using one of their coupons.

If anything, it's a great place to find a collection of online stores that fits our needs.

Everyone has a morning routine. It gives us a sense of normalcy of the life. For me, there are certain sites that I visit in the morning to start my day - webmail, news, etc.

Firefox has a great add-on to make it just a bit easier: Check out Morning Coffee (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2677). You can set your browser to open your favorite sites depending on the day.

This blog/site is after my heart. Unclutterer (http://www.unclutterer.com) gives people insight on how to organized and stay that way. It's not overly opinionated and matter-of-factly, so readers can take bites and apply it to their lives.

It's a terrific daily read.

Even if you're not the organizing type, there's always time to start.

At least that's what Jott (http://www.jott.com) is claiming they do. Bring a digital personal assistant to life by simply talking your tasks and notes to a phone specific phone number for you. You can have it take messages and even write your blog.

Amazing.

I have this dream of retiring to a little cottage in [insert Western European country] and spending my silver years with a laptop writing novels. This fantasy has been modified from my romanticized idea of using pen and paper for writing as I've figured our how impractical that method is for me. I recently spent three hours writing a snail mail letter to a friend across the country because I couldn't write everything legibly and had to keep starting over. However, I digress.

In case anyone has a similar desire or simply wants to become a better writer, but doesn't have the time or means to attend formal training from universities, you might find this useful: 10 Universities Offering Free Writing Courses (http://education-portal.com/articles/10_Universities_Offering_Free_Writing_Courses_Online.html).
